What do you love about your business? The thing I love most about my business is the ability to pour into other women from behind the chair. I get to celebrate them in many ways and that is what brings me the most joy. Seeing how they start to see themselves as I see them—strong, beautiful, talented, and special women. I also love having the ability to gift beauty to women who do not see themselves as a priority.
Tell us about your business. In the last 3.5 years in Conway, my business has evolved from a one-person team to a larger team inside The Spa’ah. My partnership with The Spa’ah is to create a salon that provides the client with an experience—not just a service, as well as the ability to provide spa services for a one-stop-shop. Expanding our menu services and education has increased our client engagement in the salon. Having an experienced team that is client-centered and professional is the utmost standard in the salon.

What sets your business apart from others? What sets my team apart from others is that we function as a team. Each client gets the full support of every team member when they are in the salon. Our salon is centered around the client—not the stylists. Every client is treated as a rock-star regardless of who they are or the service that they receive. From the neck massage shampoo to the glass of wine to the extra care taken—every client is special.
How are you involved in your community? Our salon has participated in many community events, especially UCA Women’s Leadership Network events. I have been personally involved with UCA WLN as a committee member since 2019. We take pride in donating time and services to many charities including the Women’s Shelter.

What do you love most about working/living in Faulkner County?
I love Faulkner County and owning a business here because of the leadership. The leadership here has a vision for growth. This vision is exciting for us as business owners to see this area grow and expand.

Who was your biggest life influence/inspired your career path? My inspiration is my legacy plan. This plan includes creating a sustainable business for my children and team to build upon long after me. I work daily on my business not just in the business to ensure we are growing and not remaining stagnant.
What is the future of the salon? The future for myself and the salon team is to create the absolute best hair designs in Faulkner County as well as expand our education. We plan to bring in more talented artists, licensed instructors, and marketing personnel. We are adding some educational classes, additional future services, and career path training. We are definitely excited about the next several months to come!
